Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal is pleased to announce that it will be the main sponsor in a concert 'A Classical Evening with Zanta Hofmeyr' that will be held at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta on Friday the 27th May 2011 at 8.00pm under the patronage of the President of Malta. Our firm is organising this event in collaboration with Sigmund Mifsud.
Part of the proceeds will go in aid of the Community Chest Fund. The concert will feature internationally acclaimed South African violinist Zanta Hofmeyr who will be accompanied on the piano by Elma van der Merwe. The duo will be flanked by Maltese soprano Gillian Zammit and clarinetist Godfrey Mifsud.

Zanta Hofmeyr graduated from The Juilliard School of Music in New York and is one of South Africa’s most renowned violinists. She has regular appearances as soloist with the Artscape Philharmonic and Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestras as well as other symphony orchestras in South Africa.
During this recital she will be accompanied by pianist Elna van der Merwe, one of South Africa's most sought-after chamber musicians.
A Classical Evening with Zanta Hofmeyr will also feature Godfrey Mifsud who will be playing an original piece by Maltese Composer Charles Camilleri, Divertimento No1 written for Clarinet, Piano and Violin. Additionally, Soprano Gillian Zammit will engage the audience in two acclaimed pieces namely; "O mio babbino caro" by Giacomo Puccini and "So anch'io la virtu magica" by Donizetti.
