The most commonly used entity for business, trading and holding activities is the Limited Liability Company. A company can be private or public and has a legal personality distinct from that of its shareholders.
Companies are registered with the Registrar of Companies within the Malta Financial Services Authority which is responsible, amongst others, for maintaining a register of all companies including details about the shareholders, officers and various documents that companies are required to submit periodically.
Company formation is a relatively straightforward and cost effective procedure. Our firm’s associated service provider Trust Alliance International can assist throughout the whole process of setting up and registering a Maltese company.
