Our lawyers are members of the bar, competent to plead at the Courts of Justice as well as in tribunals, and willing to assist and represent clients in court litigation primarily in civil and commercial matters, ranging from daily procedures to complex cases involving multiple claims and parties.
We believe that out-of-court settlements and alternative dispute resolution may, depending on the case, offer great benefits to the client over court litigation with respect to timing, cost and confidentiality.
The Arbitration Act, 1996, provides means of alternative dispute resolution and incorporates a number of important conventions regarding international commercial arbitration, including the UNCITRAL model law. Furthermore it established the Malta Arbitration Centre which may provide a quicker and more expedient forum for the business community to settle its disputes.
We provide assistance and guidance in alternative dispute resolutions including domestic and international arbitration as well as mediation.
