Dr Madeleine Gauci studied law at the University of Malta. She read for a Bachelor of Laws Degree, followed by a Diploma of Notary Public and was subsequently conferred a Doctor of Laws degree at the University of Malta, in 2017, having successfully submitted her thesis entitled “Fintech: The Legal Challenges”. She joined Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal as a trainee lawyer in 2017. Her main practice areas include civil, commercial, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and data protection.

In 2022, Madeleine obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certificates from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Madeleine enjoys travelling, cooking and reading in her spare time.
